Collie Motorplex Weekend!
This Event is round 1 of our Club Motorsport Championship!
It’s that time of year again! WRX Club heads down to Collie Motorplex for a weekend of racing, a few drinks, and another attempt to reset our own record for the size of our overnight fire pit.

Saturday 19 February : Mandatory Scrutineering at Ian Jeffery Motors
Saturday 26 February : The new Long Track all day. Instructors are available for anybody who would like some guidance.
Sunday 27 February: 2022 CMSC Round 1 Hillclimb joining the BEERS 1000 crew! Using a new hill Climb layout running through to early afternoon!

Scrutineering and safety equipment will be as per normal regulations outlined in Supp Regs: Fire extinguisher, long pants and shirt, closed in shoes and a compliant helmet.
BBQ available for cook-ups each night/morning. Track canteen will be open Saturday & Sunday

Sleeping:
There is plenty of camping space at Collie Motorplex on their camp grounds.
Or you’re more than welcome to stay in Collie town centre, there are plenty of places to stay with plenty of food options.
We do have access to cross the track Friday evening for those not wanting a VERY early morning on Saturday. Please be aware there is another event on throughout Friday and if you cannot fit through the tunnel you will need to wait till the event has finished, to then be able to cross the track. Access to cross the track is prior to 2pm or after 5pm Friday 25th.
Food:
There is a canteen open Saturday and Sunday at the Motorplex.
BBQ’s are available for use. Don’t forget to bring everything you may need (Cooking Utensils, lighters ect)
It could be a warm weekend so bring plenty of water to keep hydrated.
Don’t forget to support the local town, have a bite to eat or a refreshing beverage along the way. If you’re camping and using the BBQ’s available use their local shops to buy your groceries. They would be more than appreciative. 😊
To align with government and venue requirements, It will be a requirement to be Covid-19 vaccinated. We will require proof of Vaccine Certificate now along side your racing licence to make our admin job easier and your driver wristband will act as proof for the weekend (Sighted and wrist bands given on the morning of the event).
